Geoffrey Beene, heavy, silk faille, stripe bolero with a high stand up collar that has a scallop detail.
Bolero has a raglan sleeve, and lengthens in the back where it stands away from the body. The bolero has a sculpted silhouette. Interior has an emerald green taffeta lining. This piece has embroidered and beaded detail at the upper bodice, neck, and sleeve cuff made by the french house , Lesage that created embroideries for the couture houses and mostly known for Chanel. This is a prototype that never went into production because it was too costly to produce. This is the only one that was made.
